Matrasur Composites’ own engineering bureau integrates its long time experience and know-how of the industry into a unique robot range including Robomat, Usimat and Robostrat models for:

• Gelcoat spray-up
• Resin spray-up
• Simultaneous spray-up of resin and fibreglass
• Nonroll resin spray-up
• Part trimming and machining

Two main programming technologies are available. The Robomat technology is “self learning”, and consists in reproducing the exact movement previously carried out by an operator with the robot in hand. This technology is particularly easy of use. The operator guides the robot’s movement the first time. The robot then operates on its own. The Company can benefit from the best operator’s gesture infinite amount of times.

The second robot technology, Robostrat, consists on a programming through computer simulation trajectories. This technology brings high accuracy and widens speed possibilities, not yet reached in the industry.
