JEC AMERICAS 2012 - BOSTON

7 to 9th of November, 2012 : Matrasur Composites exhibited (stand G35) at the first edition of the JEC AMERICAS 2012 Show which took place in Boston, USA. The American Composite Industry is known for its strong presence in terms of process automation and design development. The exhibition announced a properous future for this industry.

9 to 11th of October, 2012 : Visit us at Composites Europe 2012 in Düsseldorf, Germany in Hall 8B, stand E20j. Matrasur Composites shares a stand with its German partner, the company Gama Deutschland.

  CHINA COMPOSITES EXPO 2012 - SHANGHAI

5 to 7th of September, 2012 : Matrasur Composites continues to increase its presence in Asia by participating for the 2nd time to the exhibition China Composites Expo 2012 which took place in Shanghai in September. Matrasur Composites shared stand # 1102/1403 with its Chinese partner, the company SINO COMPOSITE.

  JEC ASIA SINGAPORE 2012

26 to 28 June, 2012 : During the Composite Platform JEC ASIA, Matrasur Composites held booth # G15. Numerous projects await in the Asian Region.

  Polyester Modeling Paste for Spray-up and Extrusion

26 April 2012 : Modeling suffers from high costs due to manpower, raw material and equipment. In recent years, Matrasur Composites and Euromere Spraycore have developed an innovative and economical alternative. The major innovations of the process are the following :
> The use of a non-shrinkable, low exotherm, low VOC-emission and, very price-competitive polyester paste
> The use of a unique machine for both extrusion and spray-up.

On April 26th, Matrasur Composites and Euromere Spraycore organize meeting to explain and demonstrate the process.

  2nd Symposium organized by Matrasur Composites

30 March 2012 : The 2nd Edition of the International Symposium organized by Matrasur Composites gathered our Network of International Partners and Customers around a technical & sales conference followed by a a live demonstration with an 8-axes, spray-up robot integrated into a fully automated carousel.
A total of 30 partners and 70 clients joined us at the occasion.

  JEC EUROPE 2012 Trade Show

27-28-29 March 2012 (Stand T30) : As a reference manufacturer of equipment for composite applications on the French market, Matrasur Composites continues its growth abroad with its unique robot type Robomat, especially designed for the spray-up of gelcoat, resin, resin & fiberglass etc. This robot has been sucessfully installed in production plants in France, Europe and Asia. Its unique programming technology is based on the copy by the robot of the operator's movements.

  Composite-Expo - Moscow - March 2012

28-29-01 March 2012 : 1st participation for Matrasur Composites as an exhibitor at the Composite-Expo show with its local partner, the Company Polymerprom. The show took place in the city of Moscow. It gathered for the 5th time the main actors of the Russian Composite Industry. In 2011 Matrasur Composites installed the first spray-up robot in Russia and several more are to come!

  FLEX MOLDING - November 30,2011

November 30, 2011 : Demonstration organized in partnership with MVP, Wacker and Centre Ouest Formation (Training Center, France) with focus on a new infusion approach (FLEX MOLDING) based on a reusable membrane offering improved part surface. A successful event to which a total of 40 different French companies attended.

  KOMPOZYT EXPO - Krakow, Poland

November 24 and 25, 2011 : Matrasur Composites exhibited together with MVP Polska at the second edition of Kompozyt-Expo, the first Polish show for Composites, Technology and Machines which took place in Krakow. The occasion for a fruitful encounter with Eastern European composites manufacturers.

  BATIMAT 2011 - Paris

November 7 to 12, 2011 : Batimat is the French and International Trade Show for the construction industry. MATRASUR Composites held a stand with its most recent polyurethane insulation equipment and coating machines.

  JEC ASIA 2011 - Singapore

October 18 to 20, 2011: This year, Matrasur Composites received the JEC Automation Innovation Award for its unique spray-up robot type ROBOMAT capable of reproducing the operator's movements during he programming phase.

September 27 to 29, 2011 : The European Trade Fair & Forum for Composites Technology and Applications took place in Stuttgart during the month of September. MATRASUR Composites exhibited together with its partner Gama Deutschland - Hall 4 - Stand A55.

  Les Couleurs de la Plasturgie - Sophia Antipolis

September 13, 2011: Organized by the French Association CARMA of which Matrasur Composites is a member, "Les Couleurs de la Plasturgie" is the occasion for Composites actors in the South-West of France to meet, debate and exhibit the latests trends in the Industry.

  CHINA COMPOSITES EXPO 2011 - Shanghai

September 7 to 9, 2011 : In collaboration with its chinese partner, SINO COMPOSITES, Matrasur Composites exhibited for the first time at the CHINA COMPOSITES EXPO. The Exhibition 2011 reflected this rapidly growing market which shall remain prosperous in the coming years. Matrasur Composites will be installing the first ROBOMAT in the first quarter 2012.

  RTM & INFUSION - PPE SYMPOSIUM

February 9-10, 2011: The 7th edition of the international meeting on RTM and Infusion Processes took place at Saint-Avold, France. The occasion for professionals to meet and network with the "Pole de Plasturgie de l'Est" (PPE), the well-known Techical Center in the field of Composites Materials.   The Automation of Polymer Composites Manufacturing

December 16th, 2010, Paris: On the occasion of JEC-Day conference on the Automation of Polymer Composites Manufacturing, Matrasur Composites was invited to talk to an assembly of around 50 manufacturers about its industrial solutions, highlighting situations before and after the industrialization process and the impacts on productivity, quality, cost control, regulation aspects, working conditions, environmental issues, and energy costs.

  Compositec Conference

December 8th, 2010, North of France: Compositec and APAF organized a conference day with an audience composed of companies from the North region of France to present the wide range of possibilities in the composites industry. In addition to the many exhibitors who presented their expertise, conference sessions were organized in which Matrasur Composites participated presenting robotic solutions applied to composites.

  Polymer Days 2010 - Norway

November 24 and 25, 2010 - Fredrikstad, Norway: The Norwegian newspaper "Plast" organized once again this year the so-called "Polymer Days" ('Polymerdagene') in Fredrikstad, Norways, presenting the latest innovations in the Plastics and Composites fields to an audience of about 200 companies. Matrasur Composites presented two lectures on this occasion on November 24th and 25th, 2010. The first theme was "The industrialization of the composite wet technologies in open or closed mold". The second focused on Robotics adapted to Composites and in particular the new solutions at low cost recently intriduced in the composites' market by Matrasur Composites. This region of Europe where labor costs are particularly high, showed to be very open to the advantages introduced by robotics.

  "Flex Molding" day presentation

October 5th, 2010 - Drocourt at Cray Valley facilities: The new technology of injection / infusion called "FLEX MOLDING" offers a reusable membrane and gathers all components and accessories eliminating the use of consumables that are normally required to produce large quantities with conventional infusion technologies. The day was organized around technical presentations and demonstration workshops where participants were able to see the ease of implementation of this new infusion method.

  JEC ASIA 2010 - Singapore

October 12, 13, and 14, 2010 - Singapore : « Jec Asia reflects the request for processes industrialization in the Middle-East, Asia-Pacific and Australia » says Jec Composites Magazine. A provider of industrialization solutions, Matrasur Composites took part in this second edition of the JEC Show that brought together composite players of this booming market. ----- STAND N° A15 -----.

June 8, 9, 10 and 11, 2010 - München : The international Trade Fair for Automation an Mechatronics took place in München during the month of June. MATRASUR Composites exhibited in the Composites pavillion introducing Robotic solutions for the wet composite industry.

From November 2 to 7, 2009 in Paris, Porte de Versailles : Batimat is the leading show for the Construction Industry that gathers every two years all suppliers of Products, Equipment and Services for the building industry.   French Educational Institutions and Matrasur

October 14, 2009: Matrasur Composites participated at a meeting gathering several French Educational Institutions that provide training on composites. Matrasur Composites presented its equipment and introduced a concept of machine for spray-up, injection and casting (all 3 applications in one machine) available at a very competitive level of price.

  Carma Show 2009

October 7 and 8, 2009 : The Carma show took place for the 9th time since 2000. Around 110 exhibitors, 12 conferences, 6 round tables and 10 workshops were animated. Matrasur Composites is an old member of the Carma Association that attended this event during which we presented one of the last injection machines designed for this environmental-friendly, closed mould part production technique.

  MC Technics Opening - September 2009

September 18 and 19, 2009: The company MC Technics inaugurated its new building in Maastricht surrounded by 400 partners and clients. Matrasur Composites, supplier of equipments for the composites industry and partner of MC Technics presented for this occasion its equipment solutions for the industrialization of production of composites parts.

  RTM Light TRAINING IN TUNISIA - Postponed

Matrasur Composites will organise an RTM Training session in Tunisia with the collaboration of Mr. Marouen Ben Hmiden, director of the company Sorepco.
This training session shall last 3 full days and will cover the injection process and the manufacturing of an RTM light mould.
An extension of the lamination technique and simultaneous spray-up of resin & fibreglass, the RTM light process seems to be the logical step toward close mould manufacturing technologies.
These 3 days will combine theory with practical workshops that will allow participants to acquire the necessary knowledge to start working in good conditions.

  ROBOT DEMONSTRATION DAY

  CARMA Show 2008

October 29 and 30, 2008: The Advanced Materials Animation Center called CARMA launched the 8th edition of the annual Show on "Innovation Materials and Eco-design". This year, the event took place at the IPFM at Seyne sur Mer (South of France). Matrasur Composites, an active member of CARMA, was represented by Field-Technician Yann Guiho.

  RTM Light TRAINING SESSION

The first week of June 2008 took place an RTM Light Training session at Matrasur Composites' premises. This training programme is proposed to all. It covers the manufacture of an RTM Light mould, the injection technology & equipment as well as an overview of all RTM Accessories now available. Other sessions of this training can be organised in France or abroad.

  COMPOSITES MATERIALS: A DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY 

The 11th and 12th of October 2007 the Technological University of Compiègne - France (UTC) - Center of Transfer, organised an encounter on the theme Composites : A development opportunity.
MATRASUR Composites was represented by field technicien Frédéric Pinon and Technical Manager Alex Letellier during this 2- day conference.

  CARMA SHOW 2007: 7th Technological Encounter

The 10th and 11th of October 2007, the Regional Centre of Advanced Material Activities, Carma, together with the Science Institute of Engineers of the Var, the ISITV, organised the 7th Technological Encounter around “Innovation, Technology Transfer and Recyclable Composite Materials”. Matrasur Composites, an active member of the Carma, was represented by Sales-Technician Damien Kibelert at our booth during the show.

  TECHNICAL ENCOUNTER AT THE ECOLE DES     MINES DE DOUAI 

The 4th of October 2007, the well known Ecole des Mines de Douai of France, a Research Center and University, organised an encounter around "Low Pressure and Closed Mould Composite Technologies" and "Nanocomposites". Matrasur Composites was invited to talk about Technical Iinnovations and Production Industrialisation and participated at one of the live workshops about Strategies for a Maximum Production Rate.

  EUROPEAN RTM LIGHT ROADSHOW  

June 2006 -> May 2007 : Matrasur Composites' performed an RTM Live Demonstrations Tour with the New 100% Automatic RTM Injection Unit: Automatic mould identification, injection and flushing. The operator can carry out other tasks while injection takes place.

A total of around 170 companies participated to the 8 RTM workshops that took place in France, Italy, Spain, the UK, Germany and Tcheck Republic during 2006 and 2007.

  RTM ENCOUNTER AT PFT LA ROCHE SUR YON 

In order to present RTM perspectives and to bring RTM actors in contact, the Technological Platform (PFT) of La Roche sur Yon (West of France) which gathers the Kastler College, the University of Nantes, the Technological University (IUT) of La Roche sur Yon, Greta de Vendée and other colleges, organised on May 23, 2007 an encounter to which Matrasur Composites, represented by Yannick Lepec, was invited to talk about "Composites and Industrialisation Perspectives".

  PROTOTYPE FOR AN ENVIRONMENTAL-FRIENDLY     CAR: ECO-MARATHON 2007

For the second time, a group of students from a prestigious French university, the "Ecole Centrale de Paris", asked Matrasur Composites to participate in the construction of “the most ecological car” of the year. The Shell Eco-Marathon gathers every year all car prototype suggestions in the goal of finding the one that will “travel the longest distance while consuming the least fuel”. Matrasur Composites put at the student’s disposal a workshop, raw material, equipment and one of our staff members to help build what came to be an aerodynamic, fast and light prototype car.
On May 11 to 13th, 2007 in the circuit of Nogaro, France, the car went 207 km with 1 litre of fuel, 67km/l more than the year before!

  5th INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM FOR RTM     COMPOSITES    

February 6 and 7, 2007 took place at Saint Avold, France, the 5th International Symposium for RTM Composites organised by the Pôle de Plasturgie de l'Est (PPE), a technical center specialised in long fibres, reinforced composites with thermoplastic and thermoset matrix. Matrasur Composites participated in two live demonstration workshops : "100% Automated RTM cycle" and "New resin system for infusion". During these two days we also welcomed visitors at our stand.

  AERONAUTICS and COMPOSITES:
    SAMPE 2006 IN AJACCIO   

The Sampe association was founded in 1944 and it gathers engineers, technologists and material scientists from all around the world. The 23rd and 24th of November 2006 was held for the 15th time, the “Technical Day Show” in Ajaccio, Corsica with the theme: "Evolution and Perspectives of Materials and Structures". Matrasur Composites was invited to talk about “RTM and Industrialisation: From standard to integrated systems”.
