The 11th and 12th of October 2007 the Technological University of Compičgne - France (UTC) - Center of Transfer, organised an encounter on the theme “Composites : A development opportunity”. Matrasur Composites was present during this 2-day conference.

CARMA Show : 7th Technological Encounter
The Regional Centre of Advanced Material Activities, Carma, together with the Science Institute of Engineers of the Var (ISITV), organised the 7th Technological Encounter around “Innovation, Technology Transfer and Recyclable Composite Materials”. Matrasur Composites, an active member of the Carma Association, held a booth during the show.

Technical encounter at Ecole des Mines of Douai
The well known Ecole des Mines of Douai (France), a Research Center and University, organised an encounter around "Low Pressure and Closed Mould Composite Technologies" and "Nanocomposites". Matrasur Composites was invited to talk about Technical innovations and Production Process Automation and participated at one of the live workshops about Strategies for a Maximum Production Rate.

European RTM Light Roadshow
Matrasur Composites performed an RTM Live Demonstrations Tour with the New 100% Automatic RTM Injection Unit: Automatic mould identification, injection and flushing. The operator can carry out other tasks while injection takes place.

A total of around 170 companies participated to the 8 workshops that took place in France, Italy, Spain, the UK, Germany and Tcheck Republic during 2006 and 2007.

RTM Encounter at PFT La Roche sur Yon, France
In order to present RTM perspectives and to bring RTM actors in contact, the Technological Platform (PFT) of La Roche sur Yon (West of France) which gathers the Kastler College, the University of Nantes, the Technological University (IUT) of La Roche sur Yon, Greta de Vendée and other colleges, organised an encounter during which Matrasur Composites spoke about "Composites and Automation Perspectives".

Prototype for an environmental-friendly car: Shell Eco-Marathon 2007
A group of students from the prestigious French university "Ecole Centrale de Paris", asked Matrasur Composites to participate in the construction of “the most ecological car” of the year. The Shell Eco-Marathon calls for car prototype suggestions in the goal of finding the one that will “travel the longest distance while consuming the least fuel”. From May 11 to 13th, 2007 in the circuit of Nogaro, France, the car went 207 km with 1 litre of fuel, 67km/l more than the year before!

5th International Symposium for RTM Composites

5th International Symposium for RTM Composites
In February 2007 took place at Saint Avold, France, the 5th International Symposium for RTM Composites organised by the Pôle de Plasturgie de l'Est (PPE), a technical center specialised in long fibres and reinforced composites with thermoplastic and thermoset matrix. Matrasur Composites participated in two live demonstration workshops : "100% Automated RTM cycle" and "New resin system for infusion". During these two days we also welcomed visitors at our stand.

Aeronautics and Composites: Sampe 2006
The Sampe Association was founded in 1944 and it gathers engineers, technologists and material scientists from all around the world. The 23rd and 24th of November 2006 was held for the 15th time, the “Technical Day Show” in Ajaccio, Corsica with the theme: "Evolution and Perspectives of Materials and Structures". Matrasur Composites was invited to talk about “RTM and Automation: From standard to integrated systems”.
